One of the countries which we are working on the Comenius project: "MY TOWN, a piece OF THE EUROPEAN PUZZLE", is Poland.
We are going to know about this beautiful country.
As always, we have to search on Internet to obtain the necessary information and then make a presentation Impress with everything you've learned about it.

Fundamental data you'll have to find out are:

* Location of Poland.

* Capital of the country and main cities.

* Language, flag, religion, population and goverment.

* Major geographical features in Poland.

* Most important events in its history.

* Economy.

* Flora and fauna.

* Main monuments/buildings.

* Customs and lifestyles.

Remember to do the presentations is very important to use images, maps, charts, diagrams and text, concise and understandable. If you use difficult words or techniques, you should do at the end of the presentation a glossary of terms.

Uno de los países con los que estamos trabajando en el Proyecto Comenius: "MY TOWN, APIECE OF THE EUROPEAN PUZZLE", es Polonia.

Vamos a conocer este bonito país.

Como siempre, tenemos que investigar en Internet para obtener la información necesaria y, posteriormente, realizar una presentación Impress con todo lo que hayáis aprendido sobre este país.

Los datos fundamentales que tendréis que averiguar son:

* Situación geográfica de Polonia.

* Capital de este país y principales ciudades.

* Lengua, bandera, religiones, número de habitantes y forma de gobierno del mismo.

* Principales accidentes geográficos.

* Acontecimientos más importantes en su historia.

* Economía del país.

* Flora y fauna.

* Principales monumentos.

* Costumbres y formas de vida.

Recordad que en la realización de las presentaciones es muy importante el uso de imágenes, mapas, gráficos, diagramas y textos claros, concretos y comprensibles. Si utilizas palabras difíciles o técnicas, debes hacer al final de la presentación un glosario terminológico.

JUGUEMOS CON LAS PALABRAS

¿Qué tal si escribimos textos utilizando frases que se construyan con palabras que empiecen por la misma letra?

"Carolina compró cuatro cuentos con canciones catalanas¡Cómo cantaba! Cuando comenzó, catorce cacharros cayeron completamente compungidos. Carlos contemplaba con cautela. Carolina calló considerándose catastrófica como cantante."

COMENIUS ACTIVITIES IN OUR SCHOOL

During this course at our school have developed different activities related to the Comenius Project. Both kindergarten and primary education have included it in their schedules. From here we congratulate all teachers who are participating enthusiastically. Here's a small sample of some of the work that our students are doing.

MEETING IN YALOVA (TURKEY)

From 8 to April 12 we have met again with our Comenius Project friends to continue planning the different activities to do in each of our schools. Teachers and students from Nuestro Padre Jesus Del Llano have moved to Yalova (Turkey) where they have met with students and teachers from other countries. Juan Sanchez and Lucia Sanchez, students who have got the good fortune to attend the meeting, they have returned to our country with a suitcase full of friends from other countries that still retain the contact. They have known firsthand the Turkish hospitality because of the families who they have lived. We will always be grateful them for the way we were treated in their own homes. They have also visited two of the most beautiful and charming cities in the world, such as Bursa and Istanbul. An experience we will never forget.
